To enable visitors to take advantage of our services, we collect certain types of Information from both our software Customers (Institute) and software User (students and guardians), such as during registration, when submitting a review, using our chat features, timeline, blog, research, forum and for journal. This Information may include your first and last name, job title, telephone number, postal/email addresses, billing information, and social media profile information (including photo). We receive, store and share this Information with our software and Affiliates across the Gartner organization


We collect this Information to support our legitimate interests in conducting our business: (i) to operate our programs; (ii) to fulfil your requests; (iii) to administer services on behalf of institute under contract with us; and (iv) to respond to your questions, concerns, or customer service inquiries. We retain this Information only for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was collected.


If you post reviews or participate in chat features, timeline, blog, research, for journal and discussion forums or other social areas of our software, your participation (including the content you post, your name, and a link to your profile) may be shared with our software and Affiliates across the Gartner organization.

SOCIAL MEDIA: If you connect to our Software’s through third-party social media Software’s like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, YouTube, WhatsApp and LinkedIn, we will receive Information from your social media account as further described below. You may choose not to provide Information to us, but some Information about you is required in order for you to enjoy the full benefits of being a registered user of our Software.

If you log on to our Software through your social media account, we will receive, where possible:

Your profile Information and will automatically populate your profile on our Software with your name, job title, company name, and profile photo, industry and company size (Note: you may request that this Information not be shown publicly on our Software).

Access to your connections /network to show you reviews written by your connections (Note: we will not access your connections’ contact information or send messages to your connections).


We may also obtain Information about you from our Affiliates, business partners and independent third-parties. For example, if you visit our software by "clicking-through" from software operated by one of our business partners, and you have registered with that partner, then Information you provided to that partner may be shared with us to improve and personalize your use of our software.


Failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of this or any Agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and shall not cause a diminution of the obligations under this or any Agreement. No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.


We automatically collect some information about your computer activity when you visit our software to help us customize your user experience. We will collect session data, including the time at which you visited our software, your IP address, web browser software, referring software and information collected through cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies. In addition, only authorized employees are permitted to access Information, and only for permitted business functions. And we use encryption when transmitting your Information between your system and ours, and we, together with our Partners and third-party providers, employ firewalls and intrusion detection systems to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your Information.

In the end, you are responsible for activity on our software conducted with your credentials and for maintaining the secrecy of credentials that may be used to access your Account or Service; and you must immediately report to us, per the contact information at the end of this Policy, any suspected unauthorized activity.


Our Software is intended for Institute audiences and not for Students who are not eligible for access internet services, in case of this their guardians may use their panel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a student without Institute permission. If we learn that we have collected or received Information from a Student who is not eligible for access internet services without parental or institute consent, we will delete or destroy such Information as soon as reasonably possible. If you are visiting our software and want to use our software from outside of India, you understand and agree that your Information may be transferred to, stored and used in the India where our servers are located and our central database is operated. While India data protection laws may not be as comprehensive as those in your country, we have taken steps in accordance with India law to ensure that your privacy is protected.
